Resolution 2017

Hey All,

I hope almost everyone would have got to know what would be the content of this post. Yeah!!! you are right.. it is all about my resolution which I had for year 2017. Before every new year most of us will have a resolution for the next year in our mind based on our career, health, wealth etc.

And there must be a background or reason for all of our resolutions. Yeah, as you know I always love spending time with friends and travel with them. During one of my travels, I didn't have a good time and that was the time I decided or I would say, that was the day which made me choose my resolution for the year 2017. Yeah that was all about reducing my body weight.

So now let us dive in to the core content, before that, I know everyone will be interested in knowing what went wrong during my travel/trip to make my mind up (Now-a-days, people are most interested in knowing others’ mistakes and it has become a trend!?). About end of the year 2016, I visited Goa for the first time with friends and during that trip we went for a water sport called banana ride. During that ride we were dropped in to ocean with life guard and while I tried to climb back on the boat I struggled a lot and that was the time I decided with this much of flesh I am not happy at all. I hope, I declared to my friends that I will hit gym for next year.

Before starting gym, I wanted to tune my body, so I started jogging early morning with my brother. I started slowly and I was able to make half of his effort like 5 rounds of jogging. That made my mind that I could fit in to gym, with some guts, I enrolled in a gym for yearly program by paying 6,000rs (even now I am not sure how I made myself up to pay 6K in a single stretch). During my initial days, I got a mixed feedback like if you started doing gym you have to continue for your life time and you can't come out of it easily, and if you stop doing gym you will gain whatever you have lost in few months.

Yes, I was afraid upon hearing all these stories and advice from my friends and few people told that let’s see how long you are going to continue this. Somehow, I started my gym journey by Jan 5th 2017 and that was the day I decided that okay whatever it is, I will give it a try (even if I fail it might be a lesson for me). As expected, initial days were so difficult and most important thing is I didn't take my mobile with me for first 6 months (as you guys know I wouldn't live without my mobile and that was the hard part for me than doing exercise ;) (mind voice within mind voice :P )).

Here I wanted to tell u all about the very first person whom I met in my gym, my trainer Mr. Ranjith (I have never seen such a polite trainer). Whenever he gives me an instruction to follow, I was able to make only 80% of that, but still he encouraged me saying this is just a beginning and you can do better in days. Those words were boost for me and I kept trying. Still I can remember the day I had that dizzy moment for the very first time, as usual, Ranjith gave me an instruction on the set I have to do and he went for a break. I was able to complete till my second set and I just laid down on the floor. When he approached me I was able to see only his face and beyond his face everything was dark (at that moment I just said I am not able to move). Ranjith ran back and he came with a glucose box in his hand, he gave me around 2 to 3 spoons of it and water in a glass, after having them, he told that we will stop here. I was scared twice like that, then I started enjoying it (that was a new kind of high for me and I enjoyed that part totally 4 or 5 times in year 2017).

I felt that I got settled with my exercise, I started carrying my mobile with me. I always used to listen to the lyrics of a song even it is happiest or saddest song during my training. There started my diet part! I was allowed to have only 11 egg whites in a day with 4 to 5 bottles of warm water. I felt dizzy in my office hours and started getting a mild head ache because of this food control (I convinced myself saying even this is temporary) but really had a difficult phase during that time. I saw a notable change in scale after following this diet and continuous training. Still I can say that I didn't do it 100% and many of my friends will also say this.

At some point of time, I contemplated quitting, but at those times, I just recalled what all my friends said before I started gym and what they are saying now (everything will be changed as time passes). I got good number of friends, many of gym mates have told that I have reduced a lot and shaping up good. Till today whatever it is, I don't remember a day that I said no to Ranjith, whatever the instructions he gave me, I just said "will give a try!!" and got a reply saying "you can do it!" from my trainer.

What so ever it is, when we do something regularly we will improve ourselves among our circle of people. I was so happy that after noticing the change in me, many of friends started hitting gym (At least 4 to 5 people for different reasons ;) ). All the credits goes to my resilience, Trainer, friends who are always there and never forget to encourage me.

I have taken few videos during my training session and I have posted a part of those clips in instagram and you can see them using below links

I enjoyed my one year of gym journey, I hope and I will achieve my results before a target date as how I did in this year.

I have achieved at-least something I wanted to do it in the year 2017, hope I have harder target for 2018 and I will share the result with you in next year.

Please share if you have similar experience in your life because I always wanted to be part of your life as a friend ;) :P

Diwali pick

Hi Everyone,     Happy Diwali to everyone, I hope everyone of us will be having a happy and safe Diwali with friends and with their family. Whenever I open an investment or equity-related application or discussion group on my mobile, I see everybody turning out as a market analyst and suggesting or sharing their stock selection for Muhurat trading today. which happens between 6:00PM to 7:15 PM as this is an auspicious time for the day. I was thinking why I shouldn't share the ones which I have selected for investment with the detailed analysis.     Usually, I watch the ocean market at bay for 99% of the time. sometimes I am involved in investing based on my personal analysis success rate in the past based only on my fundamental analysis. I have opted for the following shares after my fundamental analysis. 1. Fortis health care. 2. Umang dairies  1. Fortis Health care: There are reasons for opting/selecting this one. I always relied on this flag pole patter...

Thank you / follow up/ update/ 2023 Diwali picks

Hi Everyone, I hope we benefited from last year's Diwali Pick. Based on the previous year's investment returns on Diwali picks, I can take care of the upcoming Diwali celebration.  Let us see the returns with sample data: We considered these two at the price of  1. Fortis Health Care @ 360 2. Umang Dairy @70. I hope we have achieved the below-mentioned targets from our 1. Umang Diaries 70 to 150(but high it made high of 165rs) which is more than 110% of return on investment within a year. 10K of investment would yield 21,326 after brokerage our charges might vary based on brokerage but the return on invested capital would be the same for all of us. 2. Fortis Healthcare 365 to 518(even now it is trading at 600+) 10K of investment would yield 14,105 after brokerage our charges might vary based on brokerage but the return on invested capital would be the same for all of us. In simple terms our investment of 20K would have grown up to 35,431 this excludes other corporate act...

Investment secret

Hey Folks, As I have mentioned in the previous blog, I had blogs in the draft so will be sharing them one by one when I get time to work on these drafts. We will see one way to make money through stocks, I have to agree that this is not my own method, I understood this way by following a fellow lady trader. Ways to make money: 1. Invest in business by having a long-term view. 2. Invest in stocks for other activities to turn them in our favour based on the following events --> Stock Split. --> Bonus Stocks --> Dividend investment. Stock Split: This event can happen for any of the following events, to make prices-price affordable for more people, so many can afford it and that in turn bring some money, and provide increased liquidity for a company. This event will not affect fundamentals mostly. This will provide a good chance for an investor to invest money in good stocks or businesses. I can remember a few recent time splits that happened in the Indian market into compani...
